Production Worker

Starting Wage Range: $12.00 - $13.50 per hour
Role Purpose:

Provides support to assure the accurate, timely and quality delivery of components to customers.

  • Understands all requirements for Personal Protective Equipment, machine guarding, and other safety requirements; and comply with each applicable to the position assigned.
  • Reviews all customer guidelines for quality and special conditions for supply of production components.
  • Maintains an ongoing understanding of all changes to updates to the production processes and customer's specifications.
  • Completes manufacturing assembly utilizing standardized work, torque tools, drills, taps, and other automated tools. Mechanical aptitude required in discerning customer specs and applying operating instructions.
  • Understands and works with Pokayoke devices, follows all specified checks for quality and quantity of units and documents in the SFCS accordingly.
  • Assists other manufacturing colleagues as needed to complete customer orders.
  • Achieves fork truck certification.
  • Maintains work area to 5S standards for organization, housekeeping, and inspection. Assists colleagues as needed to support 5S.
  • Assists with Continuous Improvement Program and participates in Kaizen events as scheduled.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Must be able to stand on feet for 8 or more hours.
  • Must have the ability to use both hands for assembling the product.
  • Must maintain good attendance and be able to work overtime as needed.
