AIDT is seeking applicants for a pre-employment training program for Production Associates at Flex-N-Gate Alabama. Flex-N-Gate produces the highest quality products and systems for the automotive industry, including extensive plastics, metals, and lighting products. These positions are available at the company's facility in McCalla, Alabama.

PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE 1

(Multiple Positions)

Pay Rate for all Positions: $13. 80 per hour

Machine and Manual Press Operator:
Operates equipment in the Press and Welding and Assembly areas. Uses basic measuring tools, gauges and fixtures to monitor the quality of products and equipment. Reads and follow processes detailed on instruction and inspection sheets. Packs WIP and finished product inventory per packaging instruction sheets. High school diploma or GED Equivalent required.

Cycle Counter:
Cycle counts raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and non-conforming materials on a daily basis. Ensures materials are in proper locations Conducts searches to locate misclassified inventory. Reports discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products to supervision. High school diploma or GED Equivalent required.

PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE 2

(Multiple Positions)

Pay Rate for all Positions: $14. 30 per hour

Material Handler:
Operates forklifts safely according to work instructions and procedures. Moves stock to and from WIP and Finished Goods areas promptly and without disruption to production. Ability to stack containers and racks in a safe and orderly manner. Verifies labeling and tags to ensure the accuracy of container contents packing slips, etc. High school diploma or GED Equivalent required.

Shipping/Receiving Clerk:
Maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products. Keeps detailed and accurate records of inspection results. Operates forklifts, bay doors, dock locks, pallet jacks, dollies, etc. ensures safety. Retrieves and send EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) data. Processes Bill of Ladings for outside services. High school diploma or GED Equivalent required.

Die-Setter/Weld Set-Up:
Set-ups, change over, adjusts and operates press and welds equipment to perform operations. Installs dies, ensures that bolster and die are clean, and properly aligned. Reads and follows set-up instructions to determine specified tolerances and sequences of operations for machine set-up. High school diploma or GED Equivalent required.

PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE 3

(Multiple Positions)

Pay Rate for all Positions: $15. 30 per hour

Auto Press Operator I:
Performs typical progressive die and press operations. Observes press in operation and makes adjustments to control the rate of production. Monitors equipment/tooling during production to ensure it is working properly (i.e., watching gages, dials, etc.) Performs quality inspections during production runs. Uses micrometers, calipers, etc. to inspect/measure/visually inspect parts to ensure they conform to specifications. High school diploma or GED Equivalent required.

MIG Welder (Rework):
Performs weld operations using equipment and materials according to the production schedule. Sets and adjusts production equipment and materials to ensure defect free welds. Inspects in-process and finished parts for defective welds according to work instructions and procedures. High school diploma or GED Equivalent required.

Quality Auditor:
Inspects product to internal and customer specific criteria following customer build forecasts and shipment schedules. Adheres to all quality systems and production requirements. Uses specified tools such as thickness gauges, calipers, micrometer, color-spectrophotometer, Macbeth light booth, CMM gauges, etc., to ensure product acceptability. High school diploma or GED Equivalent required.

MRO Clerk:
Issues MRO supplies to maintenance, supervision and production associates as needed. Orders parts and receives incoming parts, materials, and supplies for MRO crib. Tracks inventory and documents the condition of items sent to and from tool crib. Stocks all inventoried items per storeroom stocking locations and min/max levels. Completes three-way match(invoice, receipt, and purchase order) in CMS. High school diploma or GED Equivalent required.
