Wolverine Industries is currently looking for CNC Machinists to join the team at its plant in Decatur, Alabama.


PAY RATE: $22.00-$24.00 PER HOUR

Depending upon skill level and experience


  • Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
  • Plans stock inventory by checking stock to determine the amount available; anticipating needed stock; placing and expediting orders for stock; verifying receipt of stock.
  • Programs CNC mills and similar manufacturing equipment.
  • Sets-up mills and other manufacturing equipment.
  • Loads machines by lifting stock into position.


  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM programs, preferably: PowerMill, Mastercam and/or Fanuc controllers 3-5 axis mills.
  • Team Work, Conceptual Skills, Process Improvement, Verbal Communication, Functional and Technical Skills, Controls and Instrumentation, Supply Management, Tooling, Coordination, Inventory Control, Attention to Detail, Judgment.
