better tomorrow. GE Aviation is currently looking for
Technicians for our new Huntsville, AL Ceramics Raw Material
Manufacturing Facility. The successful candidate will become a
member of a team responsible for the manufacture of Ceramic Matrix
Composite precursor materials.
RATE: $30.00 PER HOUR
Operates coating machines to
produce a chemical intermediate for aviation CMC raw materials.
Serves as a resource to other
technicians in troubleshooting and identifying equipment issues.
Operates control system
equipment that controls multiple high-temperature reactions.
safety-critical vacuum processes at high temperatures.
Monitors various gauges and
Operates a distributed and
automated control system.
Monitors chemical levels and
maintain process chemical supply levels.
Conducts routine maintenance
and operation of process systems and equipment across assigned
process zones and occasionally in cross-functional areas.
Conducts work practices with
safety and quality in mind in a 24/7 production environment.
Minimum of High School Diploma
Minimum of five years
experience in a chemical plant environment with at least two
years experience working as Chemical Plant System or Board
Must be 18 years of age or
role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent
residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration
and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to
export-controlled technology. GE Aviation will require proof of
status prior to employment
Must be able to work both 2nd and 3rd shift or 12-hour shifts on
day or night shift.
