is seeking applicants for a pre-employment training program for High Voltage Operatives at Preformed Windings. Preformed Windings are global manufacturing experts and the world's leading supplier of High Voltage coils, associated products, and services. These positions are available at the company's facility in Pell City, Alabama.

Starting Pay Rate: $12.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all relevant Health & Safety (HSE) and Quality standards are followed
  • Contribute and actively participate in meeting or exceeding shift/weekly cell targets
  • Recognize and escalate technical issues in manufacturing
  • Submit accurate time recording against jobs
  • Sustain personal development to maximize cross cell flexibility
  • Request on the job training as required and promote the company training matrix
  • Work to standard/established operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Participate in problem-solving activities as needed for process, equipment and quality issues within cell
  • Strive to satisfy both internal and external customer expectations
  • Comply with the sustainment of the department's 5S & Lean activities
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Formal vocational or technical training preferred
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Demonstrate teamwork and self-motivation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment
  • Health care and savings (401k) Plan
  • Work Hours: Shift work, Occasionally working 10-12 hours per day
  • Facility environment: requires extended periods of standing
  • Fully air-conditioned workshop environment
