Bolta is currently looking for a Quality Engineer/IATF to join the team at its new facility in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.



  • Oversees effective implementation of the Quality Management System (IATF, ISO) throughout the company, including any business accreditations.
  • Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes.
  • Develops and maintains Total Quality Management systems (IATF/TS16949, ISO 14001, VDA etc.)
  • Maintains the Standard Operating Procedure content and coordinate the issuing of these documents.
  • Organizes and manage the plant internal audit system and the corrective action reporting system.


  • Relevant business/commercial or manufacturing/engineering degree preferred, or ONC, A Levels, BTec Diploma Level 3 or equivalent NVQ level 3 qualification.
  • Membership of an industry-related Professional Body would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a high volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
  • Extensive experience of working in Quality Assurance.
  • Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing skills.
