Bocar US
is currently seeking a Melt Area Leader to join their Die Casting-Melt Division. Bocar US will manufacture high-end body structural aluminum parts for automakers operating in the United States. Various positions are available at the company’s new facility in Huntsville, Alabama.




  • Ensures proper chemistry of aluminum alloy in use.
  • Evaluates daily production schedule to determine necessary supply of molten aluminum to each die cast machine.
  • Acquires production and equipment condition information reported from night shifts, evaluates, and assures the implementation of any needed corrective action steps.
  • Prioritizes daily activities and oversees the implementation of those activities including directions given to the Melt personnel.
  • Provides routine and special reports to the DC Process Manager including: ingot inventory, melting weights, scrap, molten generate report, etc.
  • Initiates and coordinates the regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all melting related equipment.
  • Assures the proper training of all Melting Area associates to meet all production, maintenance, safety, quality, and other required skills/ knowledge as well as providing ongoing training to continually level skills.


  • Must have experience in molten aluminum operation in a die casting facility.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of the melting and holding furnace equipment (Striko Westofen Melting & Holding Furnaces required).
  • Quality control inspection methods of aluminum alloys; and no less than 5 years of progressively responsible leadership experience over melting or other related production operation.
