Daher is a 150 year old family owned
and operated company headquartered in France. Daher produces aerospace
components and logistic services for the aerospace industry throughout
France, Europe, the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The Mobile
location provides Logistics Services for Airbus for both the A320 and
the A220 final assembly line.
Responsible for determining most effective
ways to create a product or service and driving their implementation.
Develops ways to increase productivity, maximize efficiency, and manage
human capital more effectively.
Develop most efficient ways to use
people, machines, materials, information, and energy to perform the
Identify process and tools
Implement continuous improvement
solutions within the logistics activity alongside the operations
Masters data analysis and management
with Excel and/or similar tools
Support the operations manager and
site director in defining continuous improvement strategy
Build and maintain activity
Define and drive Daher’s project
roadmap for the Mobile site
Manage a team of 3 or more people in
projects, methods and continuous improvement
Personally take on some projects
from the roadmap
Communicate regularly internally and
with the customer on project progress
Identify and propose project
opportunities to improve efficiency, implement innovations, adapt to
new customer needs, improve flows and working environment (ergonomics,
Lean flow, etc.)
Measure projects savings
Participate in the development of
Daher’s activities on the Mobile site.
GED/High School Diploma
1+ years of management experience,
ideally in engineering or methods team
Experience managing projects in
logistics or in a production environment
Must have current SAP experience
Must have no relatives currently
employed at Daher Aerospace
Must disclose all previous
applications with or employment by Airbus or any contractors to Airbus
