Kappler is currently seeking a Human
Resources Manager to join the team at its facility in Guntersville,
BASED ON EXPERIENCE
Developing and implementing HR
strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business
Enhances the organization’s human
resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee
relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Maintains the work structure by
updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions as
well as preparing all job offers.
Supports organization staff by
establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program;
counseling managers on candidate selection, conducting and analyzing
interviews, and recommending
Conducts employee on-boarding and
prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting
new hire orientation program.
Ensures planning, monitoring, and
appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and
discipline employees; advises management in appropriate resolution
of employee relations issues, and maintains records.
Ensures legal compliance by
monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and
state requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records,
and representing the organization at hearings.
Manages a pay plan by conducting
periodic pay surveys: scheduling job evaluations, monitoring pay
actions to ensure compliance and equity within the organization.
Administer programs and keep
record of benefits plan participation: life, health dental,
disability, 401k, ESOP, PTO, leave of absence, FMLA,
Manages workers compensation
Cultivates professional and
technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing
professional publications, establishing personal networks, and
participating in professional societies.
Bachelor’s degree in HR
Management or related field
5+ years HR progressive human
resource experience desired
Strong leadership, organization
and multitasking skills
Self motivated and work
independently, while also having strong collaboration skills to
interface with many types of groups, people and situations.
Communication Skills (written
& verbal) and Good Interpersonal Skills.
Experience with HRMS and Insperity
PHR/SPHR certification preferred
Bilingual a plus
