This position is for SEGERS
AERO CORP located in FAIRHOPE, AL.
$20 - $27 PER HOUR
daily inspection assignments as directed by the Supervisor
material or product for surface defects such as cracks, pits, and
precision measuring instruments to complete inspections in
accordance with approved technical data
product with parts list or sample model to ensure completion of
defective parts, and marks type of defect on part, container of
parts, or inspection tag
the electronic database to complete transactions
paperwork required for quality system
with job training of other inspection personnel in the completion of
a clean work environment using continuous improvement tools
an understanding of the methodology employed by bureaucratic and
government organizations, and skills, to deal with the requirements
and systems imposed by these organizations
accurate and timely records of inspections
to demonstrate inspection proficiency on equipment, inspection
methods & techniques, aids, and tools
with Supervisor to recommend changes such as: equipment utilization,
production methods, and procedures to increase efficiency of
department and promote improvement
all safety and health training, as required, in a timely manner
when scheduled and complies with company attendance policy
overtime as needed
and practices all safety procedures and personal policies (e.g.
safety-glasses, ear plugs, face shields etc.)

exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally exposed to
fumes or airborne particles and vibration. Noise is generally
School Diploma or GED required.
years of relevant aviation inspection experience preferred.
Power Plant license or strong working knowledge in a specialty
pass a criminal background check and DOT drug screen and comply with
all FAA regulations.
and Ishihara eye exam required upon hire.
be knowledgeable in the use of precision measuring instruments
including calipers, micrometers, hard gages, dial bores gages,
height gages, and other surface plate equipment.
be familiar with the engine components, inspection techniques, and
tools used to complete the inspection process.
be able to maintain an effective working relationship with and among
co-workers and supervisors.
be able to work with little or no supervision and take initiative.
be able to use applied knowledge to formulate positive solutions to
be able to apply common sense.
be able to effectively read, write, and communicate
be proficient in company specific software and Microsoft Office Word
be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using fractions and
decimals; compute percentages, ratios, rates and interpret graphs.
be able to comply with OSHA requirements and standards to properly
wear all applicable PPE.
be required to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
be required to use hands, wrists, and fingers repetitively.
be required to reach overhead, squat, bend, twist, stand, and walk
around using steps occasionally
