resourceful individuals to work as an NDTInspector.
This position is for Segers Aero Corp located in Fairhope, Al.
$25 - $35 PER HOUR
complete the required non-destructive inspections using approved NDT
magnetic particle and/or fluorescent penetrant non-destructive
inspections in support of the production schedule
up equipment, conducts tests, and interprets those results
NDT inspection reports and logs as required by quality processes
material or product for surface defects such as cracks, pits, and
products for structural defects such as leaks and internal cracks
defective parts, and marks type of defect on part, container of
parts or inspection tag
in on-the-job training of other NDT inspection personnel in the
completion of inspection responsibilities
in improvement efforts to improve turn time, reduce errors, or
reduce costs using continuous improvement tools
qualifications and certification in accordance with NAS 410.
communicates with Chief Inspector concerning any quality processes
the electronic database to complete transactions
a clean work environment using continuous improvement tools
an understanding of the methodology employed by bureaucratic and
government organizations, and skills to deal with the requirements
and systems imposed by these organizations.
accurate and timely records of inspections
to demonstrate inspection proficiency on equipment, inspection
methods & techniques, aids, and tools
with manager to recommend changes such as: equipment utilization,
production methods and procedures to increase efficiency of
department and promote improvement
all safety and health training, as required, in a timely
when scheduled and complies with company attendance policy
overtime as needed
and practices all safety procedures and personal policies (e.g.
safety-glasses, ear plugs, face shields etc.)

Level 2 ECI Certification required.

be required to stand, walk, climb stairs, reach overhead, squat,
bend, twist, stoop, kneel as needed for 8+ hours per day.

with or without assistance as needed for 8+ hours per day.
