Revere Control Systems is seeking applicants for a Manufacturing Manager located in BIRMINGHAM, AL. For over 40 years,  Revere Control Systems industrial automation systems have allowed them to form relationships that help water, energy, and manufacturing customers by safely delivering turnkey or standalone solutions.



SALARY: $50K- $75K



  • Manage the overall health, safety, quality, scheduling, production, shipping, maintenance, engineering, and on-time functions for all manufacturing production processes.
  • Oversee and manage the use technical workers and equipment to meet manufacturing process goals and customer requirements.
  • Design, prepare, and record test and manufacturing methods to ensure high quality and efficiency.
  • Monitor the job utilization of production personnel daily (hours to job assignment, hours to overhead, training, clean-up, meetings, improvement initiatives, employee sick leave, vacation, leaves of absence).
  • Streamline and improve the manufacturing process through the use of lean tools and industry best practices.
  • Prepare an annual budget, plan out expenses, analyze any variances, and make necessary corrections to help company achieve financial objectives.
  • Develop and implement short- and long-term planning strategies using industry best practices.
  • Provide training, coaching, and mentoring of production employees; issue corrective action when required.
  • Constantly improve the manufacturing process to make it more efficient; create a culture of improvement.
  • Determine whether new machines are needed and whether overtime work is necessary.
  • Ensure that work and storage areas are maintained and organized.
  • Comply with entire Q/A manual to assure shipping of exclusive high-quality products.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.


  • High school or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Bi-lingual preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in manufacturing management, including experience or training in supervision or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three (3) years of proven direct supervision and management experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniques.
  • Knowledge of current policies and practices of leadership.
  • Knowledge of quality systems and standards.
  • Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions.
  • Ability to operate the tools and equipment in the production areas.
  • Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
  • Ability to understand and provide verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong technical and operational knowledge of electrical systems.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written).


  • Full-time position, and business hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Longer hours, evenings and weekend work will frequently be necessary
  • The noise level in the work (office) environment is generally quiet to moderate. The noise level in the production area is generally noisy.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
  • The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts.
  • Field trips with service/sales/engineering personnel may include work environments that vary in different industrial situations.
