Kimber
is seeking applicants for pre-employment training for Assemblers/Finishers
located at their new site in Troy, Alabama. Kimber Mfg., Inc., an
American company, is one of the world’s largest designers and
manufacturers of premium firearms for individual, sporting, law
enforcement and military markets.
PAY:
$12.50 PER HOUR
$13
PER HOUR AFTER 90 DAYS
ASSEMBLERS
REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Uses hand tools or hand-held power
tools to work on the building of various assemblies in the
production of handguns and rifles.
- Performs quality checks on
products including blueprint tolerances and visual criteria before
and after work is done on the part.
- Maintains strict production
requirements and quality standards.
- Ability to lift a minimum of
40lbs.
- Knowledge of small hand tools and
measurement gauges a plus.
- Required to wear PPE such as
Safety Shoes, Glasses, Gloves, and Hearing Protection
- Required to work day shift and
overtime as production needs dictates.
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent
required.
- Must
be able to work 1st or 2nd shift
FINISHING
TECHNICIANS
REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Grinds, sands, cleans or polishes
parts to correct defects, or to prepare surfaces for further
finishing, using hand tools and power tools.
- Marks defects that require rework
from the previous process.
- Records product and processing
data on specified forms or database.
- Maintains strict production
requirements and quality standards.
- Required to wear PPE such as
Safety Shoes, Glasses, Gloves, and Hearing Protection.
- Required to work day shift and
overtime as production needs dictates.
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent
required.
- Must
be able to work 1st or 2nd shift
