Universal Precast is seeking applicants for Pipe Machine Operators. Universal Precast is a concrete pipe manufacturing company located in Troy, Alabama.
PIPE
MACHINE OPERATORS
PAY: $16 PER HOUR
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Read job specifications, and workorders to determine machine set-up
- Must be able to plan daily production sequence based off of daily/weekly production goals
- Some computer skills required
- Must be highly organized and able to work effectively under tight deadlines
- The ability to be cross trained and have a good understanding of the full scope of the Universal Precast production process required
- May be required to lift 50 pounds
- Inspecting/Troubleshooting machines required
- The ability to utilize machinery to manufacture large volumes of concrete pipe to specific customer requirements
- Must adhere to Universal Precast Safety guidelines at all times
- Good communication skills required
REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
OTHER DETAILS:
- 40-hour work week guaranteed, along with some over-time as needed
