Colormasters is seeking applicants for Production Helpers at their location in Albertville, Alabama. ColorMasters has been a player in flexible packaging since 1986. ColorMasters has grown from a 10,000 sqft facility with one bag machine to over a million square feet of manufacturing and warehousing space.



PRODUCTION HELPER

PAY: $13 - $18 PER HOUR

 BASED UPON EXPERIENCE



DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist Operator to ensure daily production goals are met.
  • Takes finished product off machine and loads it onto pallet for pick up.
  • Read, understand and follow work instructions to produce product that meet standards (production, scrap, quality).
  • Follow quality requirements to ensure all product produced meet or exceed specifications.
  • Communicate with employees from your own and other departments to create a team work environment and ensure that the machine is in top running condition.
  • Fill out all required paperwork and labels.
  • Follows procedures as stated in the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) manual.
  • Must follow safety guidelines, wear designated Personal Protective Equipment, and meet OSHA safety requirements.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • This is a light industrial position in an environment that is food quality clean.

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Pass pre-hire drug screening
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours and required overtime, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to read a measuring tape
  • High school level mathematics
