AIDT is seeking applicants for a pre-employment training opportunity with John Soules Foods for Multiple Positions in Valley, AL location. John Soules Foods provides great tasting beef and chicken through retail sales, food service distributors, restaurants, and school nutrition programs.


OPERATOR POSITIONS

PAY: $14.00 - $18.25 PER HOUR

 BASED UPON POSITION/EXPERIENCE

+ 0.50 SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL


PALLET JACK OPERATOR:

  • This position is responsible for using powered industrial equipment moves raw product, batter and breading, packaging and finished good between production areas.  
  • Must have previous experience. Preferably 1 year.

TUMBLER OPERATOR:

  • Proceed to assemble tumblers and equipment such as: pumps, filters, gaskets, etc. Set up scale if necessary for liquids, pastes &/or IQF ingredients

STACKER:

  • This position is responsible for stacking, loading & unloading finished products, stacking it neatly onto pallets. The stacker reports to the lead & supervisor of pack out.

GRADER:

  • This position is responsible for inspecting the product as it goes on the conveyor belt after being cooked and removing the product pieces that are out of specifications. 

LAYDOWN:

  • This position is responsible for inspecting the raw and marinated product as it goes on the conveyor belt before its cooked, as well as, removing rejects. 

MARINATION:

  • The marination position is responsible for setting up and operating equipment that mixes or blends ingredients used in the manufacturing of food products while maintaining a safe work environment. This position reports to the marination lead & supervisor.

FLOOR PERSON:

  • This position is responsible for maintaining a clean work area throughout the shift by removing excess build up, condensation, product waste and packaging materials in the work area. The floor person for the process line reports to the lead and the supervisor of the process line.


REQUIREMENTS/WORK CONDITIONS:

  • Must be able to work 5 to 7 days a week and work overtime without notice as needed. 
  • Must have excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned by the supervisor.
  • Must be able to work in cold environment, (40 degrees).  
  • Safety Glasses must be always worn.
  • Work performed in a plant environment.
