John Soules Foods is seeking applicants for Various Positions in Valley, AL location. John Soules Foods provides great tasting beef and chicken through retail sales, food service distributors, restaurants, and school nutrition programs.


PAY: $14.00 - $18.25 PER HOUR




  • The clerk position reports to the marination supervisor and is responsible for production reports of dry goods and raw materials that are issued to the production floor.  
  • Clerk is responsible for meeting product specification by follow formulations in issuing dry goods and raw material into production. 
  • Must be thorough and be detail oriented.
  • Must have legible penmanship.
  • Read specifications and verify that specifications are met.
  • Accurately record dry goods and raw materials released from inventory to the production floor. 
  • Must be able stay focused on job and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Coordinate activity with Supervisor.


  • This position is responsible for assisting the lead and supervisor with many duties including infinity tasks, production checks for quality control, M3 functions, assist with employee exercises and training, etc. This position reports to the lead & supervisor of process line.
  • Must be able to conduct Infinity checks. 
  • Must be able to do the Infinity input of product floor loss.
  • Must be able to do the breading pick up.
  • Must be able to use M3 for issuing materials.
  • Budget time to complete all tasks on time & coordinate activity with Supervisor.
  • Must be able to assist supervisor to conduct employee exercises, GMP trainings, & breaks.
  • Must be able stay focused on job and work effectively in a team environment.


  • To assist the QA Supervisor in managing the quality and food safety systems at the plant level which include all policies, programs, and procedures.  The QA Technician will have primary responsibilities of the HACCP Programs, GMPs, SSOP Programs, Paperwork and Filing, all QA Programs, and Enforcement of Product Specifications.
  • Preferred:  Minimum of 2 years previous experience in food processing / manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred:  Previous QA Lead Technician experience.
  • Knowledge of Quality processes and systems including but not limited to:  HACCP, SSOPs, and GMPs.
  • Intermediate level computer skills.


  • The Line Leads are basically mini Supervisors. They cannot however discipline employees, they oversee the workflow in their area and makes sure that production is running smoothly, also making sure employees are rotating in taking breaks.


  • Must be able to work 5 to 7 days a week and work overtime without notice as needed. 
  • Must have excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned by the supervisor.
  • Must be able to work in cold environment, (40 degrees).  
  • Safety Glasses must be always worn.
  • Work performed in a plant environment.
