Operator at their facility in Montgomery, Alabama.

AUTO PRESS OPERATOR
$18.26 - $21.47 PER HOUR
must understand the safety of the entire line including: Loading
coils, feeding steel through straightener and feeder, first and last
progression of the die, and emergency shutdown of press equipment.
properly set and use light curtains.
understand proper start up and shut down of equipment.
set indicators for material thickness.
set guides for material width.
understand CNC controls such as: Link 2500, Tonnage Monitor, PLC
is to properly identify and retrieve steel according to steel codes
(proper material thickness and width), and load coil through the
die setter as required.
complete operations to ensure proper operation of press system and
to maintain maximum production for which the system is designed.
all adjustments as required for proper press operations.
identify, trouble shoot, and correct operation of press line.
involve communicating with die setter, maintenance, or tooling.
good housekeeping in work area.
from written or verbal orders.
all departmental safety requirements.
units or parts for defects and workmanship.
and support Rheem values with internal as well as external
any additional duties as required by supervisor.
lifting of 5-25 lbs; Frequent lifting of 25-60 lbs; Occasional lifting
of 60+ lbs. Must be able to stand, walk and/or lift repetitively
during shift. Must
be able to frequently lift in unsupported positions as well as bend,
twist/turn, reach, push/pull.
be exposed to high noise levels, heat, dust, and airborne
(2nd Shift): 4:00 p.m. - 2:30 a.m; Overtime as needed
