Martinrea is seeking applicants for a Tool Crib Attendant at their facility in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Martinrea is a diversified global automotive supplier engaged in the design, development and manufacturing of metal parts, assemblies and modules, complex fluid management systems and aluminum products.


PAY: $21 - $26 PER HOUR



  • Must work in accordance with health & safety regulations, company rules, policies and procedures.
  • Must use or wear equipment, protective devices or clothing as required by the company.
  • Maintain an inventory of all items to ensure adequate supply at all times.
  • Manage all receiving functions, including processing of receipts, tagging/labeling, proper storage and placement of products in the crib.
  • Ensure all consumables and/or products are placed in allocated area in the stock room in a timely fashion.
  • Track items distributed to employees and maintain records in CMS.
  • Communicate to purchasing department to replenish stock as required.
  • Ensure required items are returned by the employee prior to distributing a replacement as outlined by the company (i.e.: gloves, grinding shield, glasses, etc.).
  • Responsible for keeping the stock room organized and clean at all times.
  • Maintain proper MRE housekeeping standards.
  • Must notify lead hand and/or supervisors of all dysfunctional and/or unsafe equipment or work practices.
  • Abide by all company polices including, but not limited to the following: health and safety, quality and environmental systems, human resources policies, and the Martinrea Employee Handbook.


  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Inventory Control knowledge an asset.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills, ability to interact with employees, and all levels of management.
  • Excellent written/oral communication and listening skills.
  • Works well independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.


  • Mon - Fri, 7am - 4pm.
  • 5% office; 95% plant floor (PPE required).
