US is currently seeking a Metrology Technician
to join their team in Huntsville, Alabama. Bocar US manufactures
high-end body structural aluminum parts for automakers operating in
the United States.
$28 - $32 PER HOUR
role supports plant operations with daily Control Plan Checks utilizing
Metrology equipment such as CMMs, GOM Laser Measurement, X-Ray, Surface
Profile Checks, & other equipments as specified. SPC data analysis,
Gage R&R studies, Gage Control & Calibration.
inspections of Aluminum Materials & HPDC “as
all QA Documents with latest Engineering Revision Levels for Metrology
Daily Process Release for all Metrological checks & measurement.
New Projects: Work
with Engineers to create Gage Lists, purchase gages, & set up
relevant items in Gage Tracking Software List, and MRO.
Create new spare parts lists for Straightening
Fixtures/Machines, & other QA Equipment as needed.
the preparation of Full Layouts for PPAP packages on time for each new
product/die release, assemble data from Metrology/Testing Labs/Special
Tests (i.e. Extraction Tests).
Maintenance & Calibration of all Metrology
Process Analysis for Machined & Casting Features for Customer
Review into QSTAT and/or MiniTab software.
Supervision & Scheduling of CMM Operators.
minimum of 3-5 years Automotive Quality experience or
minimum of 1-3 years CMM programming experience.
minimum of 1-3 years of practical GD&T, blueprint/drawing
be able to support Quality Engineering Department/Production as
Precision Measurement Lab & support Engineering Department with
new product development.
to compile data & create reports in Microsoft Office applications.
& 3rd shift openings
Shift: M-F 2:30pm – 10:30pm
Shift: S-Th 10:30pm – 6:30am
