Shinhwa is seeking applicants for a Quality Control Inspector in Auburn, Alabama. Shinhwa is an automotive parts manufacturer that will be a new resource for existing automotive companies in Alabama.


QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR

PAY (DAY): $13.50 PER HOUR

PAY (NIGHT): $14.50 PER HOUR


DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Examine products or work to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process.
  • Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced.
  • Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
  • Operate electronic inspection equipment and software.
  • Accept or reject finished items.
  • Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications.
  • Report inspection and test data such as weights, temperatures, grades, and quantities inspected.
  • Demonstrated initiative, ability to work with others, and good professional judgment.
  • Ability to work independently and organize time effectively.
  • Must maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem solving.
  • Microsoft (MS) Office.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must wear required personal protective equipment.


HOURS/WORK CONDITIONS:

  • Monday  – Saturday
  • 1st shift 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
  • 2nd shift 7:00 pm – 7:00 am
  • Typical indoor work environment; high temperatures in certain operations
