Hanwha Cimarron is seeking applicants for a Training Leader in Opelika, Al. Hanwha Cimarron provides high-pressure composite fuel storage solutions for the aerospace, military, transportation, and other industries.



SALARY: $75k - $90k


  • Develop, implement, train, sustain, and monitor ongoing new employee, compliance, educational, operational, and performance improvement training for company employees.
  • Design and perform training needs analysis methodologies and makes recommendations to address any training gaps.
  • Earns certification as a “train-the-trainer” and imparts knowledge gained/certifies other trainers across the company where applicable.
  • Conducts training programs by employing the required aids, tools, and data. 
  • Develops educational materials in order to provide training and support to meet all regulatory and safety compliance requirements.
  • Develops and maintains training matrices/data base to include all types of training delivered, including operations, safety, environmental, and legally required training.
  • Ensures that all training records are maintained in an “audit ready” status for audits and other department/company needs.
  • Assists/supports operations leaders/trainers with training schedules for all department employees covering safety, operational SOP’s/JI’s, quality, and performance improvement.


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • At least 5 years progressively responsible training/teaching experience, within an industrial process manufacturing operation preferred.
  • Experience in continuous improvement including experience with Lean Manufacturing preferred.
  • Proven leader with the ability to manage and lead multiple projects and staff simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and project management skills required.
