Hanwha Cimarron is seeking applicants for pre-employment training for Multiple Positions in Opelika, Al. Hanwha Cimarron provides high-pressure composite fuel storage solutions for the aerospace, military, transportation, and other industries.



PAY: $18.00+ PER HOUR




  • Perform all work per “controlled” Product Manufacturing Specifications and drawings, as well as receive both written and verbal instructions from supervisor as assigned.
  • Reads and interprets process control plans in order to set up, operate, and troubleshoot filament winding/other composite manufacturing equipment for tubes and cylinders.
  • Accurately collects, verifies and records in process data as required.
  • Assemble and ship products on time which meets or exceed specifications, following daily production schedule in order to meet customer demands.
  • Completes process equipment inspections and preforms preventive maintenance when required.
  • Records and reports quality defects and unsafe work conditions or hazards.


  • Min 1 yr. hands-on experience as a machine operator/similar in a manufacturing setting.
  • A.S. deg or equivalent experience preferred, HS diploma/GED required.
  • High school diploma or GED/equivalency certificate.
  • Experience using standard mechanical measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, meet production schedules, operate and understand engineering drawings and ability to make full use of computer network systems.
  • Excellent communication, attendance, and team working skills.


  • Ability to review and interpret detailed assembly drawings for final assembly of production items.
  • Experience with various types of industrial machinery equipment/tools such as lathes, curing ovens, sanding, blasting, painting, inspection and pressure testing is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of different composite fiber and resin types in addition to processing requirements. 
  • Experienced in manufacturing methods utilizing various composites materials processes such as hand layup, vacuum bagging, auto-clave, and resin transfer or injection molding.
  • Knowledge and experience using filament winding equipment and associated process tooling and fixtures.
  • Experience in Root Cause problem solving and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.



  • Operate various types of lifting equipment such as: pallet jacks, order pickers, side loaders, reach/counterbalance lift trucks, and stand/sit lift trucks.
  • Load/unload trucks/trailers of raw materials and finished goods, using various tools such as bar code readers, scanners or IPads in order to track inventory/complete BOL or other documents.
  • Work within established ERP systems, such as SAP, to properly record/track location and status of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
  • Inspect, maintain, and report safety/mechanical issues with forklift equipment, maintain safety inspection log.
  • Complete required logs, reports, shipping/receiving documentation as may be required, both on time and with accuracy.
  • Successfully complete annually required compliance training such as DOT, RCRA, etc.


  • Min 3 yrs experience as a forklift/logistics operator in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to operate any type of commercially available assisted lift equipment, including either sit down or stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • A.S. deg or equivalent experience preferred, HS diploma/GED required.
  • High school diploma or GED/equivalency certificate.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Demonstrated safety record as a forklift operator, ability to pass forklift license certification.
  • Experience using bar code scanners/readers, other tools as may be required.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, meet production schedules, and to make full use of computer network ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication, attendance, and team working skills.


  • Experience with SAP or Oracle ERP systems preferred.



  • Assist in providing technical/administrative support to quality department programs.  Work cross functionally w/other departments to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Inspect incoming raw materials/outgoing finished goods to ensure consistency, integrity, and compliance per quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct examinations and inspections on products/materials as required throughout the production process, including both inbound and outbound materials.
  • Report all issues and concerns as documented within the Quality Management System.
  • Confirm recorded data/production information is accurate, ensuring records and maintained for compliance to Quality system, regulatory and/or customer requirements.
  • Maintain, test, and troubleshoot all instrumentation devices.
  • Reviews and interprets customer specifications and drawings when required.
  • Provide/participate in quality training for all employees.


  • A.S. deg or equivalent experience preferred, HS diploma/GED required. 
  • 1 yr. quality dept experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
  • Experience with AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality standards preferred.
  • Ability to use measuring devices such as gauges, meters, and calipers. Computer literate.
  • Confident, able to cope with pressure, self-motivated individual and team player.
  • Analytical, logical thought process and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to adapt to various tasks/adjustments to schedules.
  • Excellent communication skills.


  • Ability to review detailed drawings of final assemblies and determine critical to quality key characteristics.
  • SPC data collection and reporting experience.
  • Experienced with internal auditing. Maintains or working to ASQ certification. 
  • Successful experience working in a matrix organization.
  • Experience maintaining the calibration and records for: measurement devices, test equipment and tooling.
  • Prior problem solving and root cause analysis work experience.
